Enjoy the people that are around you

What if in life we aim for a place that we want but don’t actually reach it? Is potential just a sad way of saying there is failure?
Nobody wants a life hoping to under achieve, it’s just all the other things that get in the way.

Christmas for me has been something that got in the way many times. I never had a big family and then when I did have they didn’t support Christmas.

But there’s more than just holidays. There are people and responsibilities to take into consideration. I would love to be doing other things that I believe I have potential for, but things happen.

My message is don’t waste your life regretting,  but look at what you have and live tomorrow in a better life, because somebody might not have a tomorrow.

Lesson of the Day: Reflection

Recently I’ve thought about the posts and information that I share on this blog and question really has it got longevity. What I mean by this is what does the future hold and is there one?

I see right now and my future being in two different places with different outlooks on life but therefore does not therefore she thought that for a fact this blog and so with that I’ve been decided to analyze parts with in my life as the blog mostly is my journal of inspirational moments that I share to you all.

  • Achievement: results articulate educate
  • Timing: diligent timely structured
  • Challenges: ability competent methodical
  • People: respectful loyal cheerful
  • Personal: caring passionate ambitious

These are my core aspects of who I am and what I want to teach to people in my inspiration.

After looking at these details I would say that over the 5 different areas my most difficult one to deal with is in fact the challenges. I would say that most times it is a little hazy and probably a bit misunderstood when explaining how something can be done and the methods of what I think are wanted but then other people that may not clearly understand what I want done and so to me that’s a difficult section to deal with right now.

And so taking challenges out of this, I can see that the in other sections I think I strive quite well.

I see my timing as very clear and obtainable as my methods are something I pride myself on quite well. To have structure in my day and controlled by time is possibly at times maybe a little too controlling as I have a strict nature.

If I have a time to do something more often than not I would actually be there earlier. I always see time as a possibility of surprises and so therefore to arrive early for meetings and such like is an aspect which I probably do quite well.

Personal is possibly my best it is something that I love to do and to care and be passionate about what I do. If there is no passion then how can there be any ambition?

Achievement is possibly a little difficult when in comparison to the challenges but they are less likely misunderstood. If the achievement is not obvious then it can be difficult but if it is obvious then the results and the nature of improving is infectious .

People is an area in my life that I see of one that is kind of new to me and is one that I am learning more and more each day as it’s not something that I initially thought of. People as always being kind of an enigma to me and so over the past few years I’ve learned I’d like to be more loyal to people and to have a cheerful personality to to them. Positivity and being respectful are elements I strive to reach in my life and now to be able to give that to other people is such a personal gain.

Think ‘Quality First’ with no Time Management

Imagine a world without time management gurus.

Sounds wonderful!

Time management has to be the biggest load of crock. There are impossible deadlines to reach and it simply makes your day feel bad because you failed the targets.

The quality of whatever you do should take priority, first and foremost. We need standards of quality, obviously, but pushing a time onto them does not help in the slightest.

Plan to Break Up Your Time

Let me start by asking for you to think about your day. Next, think about yesterday and then think about the past week.

  • Have you used your time somewhat badly?
  • Do you find yourself wasting time?
  • Have people around you stole your time?
  • Have you spent too much time doing the same tasks?

Whats going on?

The problem that comes across all these questions is time management. For most people time management is not included in their thinking. If you are reading this then it suggests you are already above many people just by knowing about it.

So what can you do? Well, you could start by creating priority checks on everything you do. Building reasons and asking, “WHY?” might help too.

A probable fix!

I have another way and that is to create a schedule. If you remember in school, you would have lessons and also periods of time around them to be able to get to the rooms. What if you could create those small windows for your day?

The idea is that you will have problems. Be prepared to fill time with emergency events. The reality is you will get tasks that can happen at any time, and they probably need doing as soon as possible.

You need to create mini breaks in your schedule for emergencies. It could be as simple as ten minutes per hour of free time. Then you would have time to finish and start the next thing with no serious disruption to your schedule.

In summary

It may seem a little wasteful in your schedule, but bear in mind your thinking is that those small windows are available and if nothing happens, then the time is yours.

When You Have Plans, Prepare to Break Them

Udemy Generic 125x125

When you have a plan that needs to change, go ahead and change it. A rule you should have for plans is to stick with them even if it is an edited plan.

ch03-seg01-article01You have to adhere to what you have. If you change, in accordance to something that you see works better, and then edit the plan, make it public and try again. Any plan is not set in concrete. It is there for you to edit and change.

Think of it as a template. Plans are a guideline. The result will thank you for it if there is some deviation to get to the result.
